Ook deze wijn van Joseph Mellot is gemaakt van de Sauvignon Blanc druif, een druif die mede dankzij dit wijnhuis een enorme bekendheid kreeg internationaal. Het gebied Menetou Salon ligt iets ten westen van de Sancerre, wat tevens de thuisbasis is van Joseph Mellot. Hoewel Menetou Salon nog niet de bekendheid heeft van zijn grote broers Sancerre en Pouilly Fume, dien je Joseph Mellot Menetou Salon niet te onderschatten. De druiven worden allen handmatig geplukt, omdat de wijnmaker van Joseph Mellot alleen de beste druiven in de wijn wil verwerken. De wijngaarden voor Joseph Mellot Menetou Salon zijn speciaal afgebakend voor Mellot. Deze ‘Clos du Pressoir’ wijngaard, ligt op een van de mooiste plekken in Menetou Salon, wat weer tot uiting komt is de smaak van deze wijn.De geur en smaak van Joseph Mellot Menetou Salon
Deze wijn staat in lijn met de andere wijnen van Joseph Mellot. Maar wellicht heeft deze nog net iets meer elegantie, smaak en karakter dan de andere wijnen. Als we de smaaknotities van onze vinologen erop naslaan, dan zijn de verwachtingen hoog. Een volle, ronde wijn bomvol finesse en verfijning. De bodem van de wijngaarden bestaat uit leisteen op mergel, iets wat je meteen ontdekt in de geur en smaak. Je ruikt schitterende aroma's van limoen en citrus Joseph Mellot Menetou Salon maar ook kalk en mineralen. De smaak is subliem te noemen. Volle aromatische tonen van perzik, citrus en bloemen. Affordable and classy

I have five stars even if the best was a little short. I have a tall boy and the rest is totally worth the money. Fit was as marked aside from vest which is higher on the chest than necessary. My son needed a suit, and these worked out great. It looks nice. Don't just assume the size, go by their size chart. I was going to order him a medium, by the chart recommended a small, and it fit perfect. The material doesn't look like an expensive suit but it worked out great for him.
