Het was Guy Maurel die in 1910 het wijnhuis Clos Saint Jean oprichtte. Vanaf het begin focuste hij zich volledig op het produceren van stoere rode wijnen. Echter kwam hier in 2011 verandering in toen zijn twee zonen Pascal en Vincent het stokje van hem overnamen. Ze besloten af te wijken van de jarenlange werkwijze van hun vader. Guy Maurel ging namelijk altijd erg traditioneel te werk, en hoewel dit altijd succesvol heeft uitgepakt, dachten de broer dat er veel meer potentie in hun wijngaarden en de aangeplante druiven zou zitten. Ze schakelde hulp in van wijnmaker Philippe Cambie en produceerde in 2003 misschien wel de beste wijn van dat jaargang. Vandaag de dag werken de drie nog steeds in de 43 hectare wijngaarden en produceren vele succesvolle wijnen die internationaal hoge ogen scoort. De druiven worden stuk voor stuk met de hand geoogst wanneer deze optimaal rijp zijn. De druiven worden ook apart van elkaar gevinificeerd. De Grenache druif ondergaat na de fermentatie een rijping van zo’n 16 maanden op betonnen vaten. De andere druiven ondergaan een rijping van 12 maanden op nieuwe eikenhouten vaten. Een prachtige dieprode wijn verschijnt in het glas. De rijke aroma’s van zwarte bessen, bramen chocolade, kruiden en hints van vijgen springen uit het glas. Ze verleiden je tot de eerste slok. En deze is bijzonder verassend. Vol en krachtig van smaak met kruidige tonen en donker fruit. Deze veelzijdige wijn heeft bovendien ook een lange aangename afdronk. Clean 2016 Prius

Fit my 2016 Prius good. I have had it installed for 10,000 miles and seems to work good still. With a nasty truck or old oil burner around me (windows up) I can smell some fumes but not much. Fumes might be coming from other sources like Worn window seals or firewall wire passages. If I flip the switch to recirculated air, I don't smell much. Great for the price and will buy another when I need it. Filter was great for winter driving. Better protection than stock. I forgot there was dog smell in the car.

Good air filter

This cabin air filter looks well made and fits perfectly. Installation is very easy, and once installed you can notice cleaner airflow inside the vehicle. For the price, it offers solid performance and is a great alternative to the OEM filter.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the material feels slightly thinner than the original filter, so it may need to be replaced a bit more often. That said, it still filters well and works as expected.
