Direct na de geboorte krijgen alle zuigelingen 1.000 mcg vitamine K toegediend. Baby’s hebben de eerste 3 maanden namelijk nog niet de juiste darmbacteriën om zelf vitamine K aan te maken.
Eenzelfde soort principe geldt voor vitamine D. Pasgeboren baby’s nog niet in staat om voldoende vitamine D uit hun voeding of zonlicht te verkrijgen. Dit is de reden waarom de Gezondheidsraad extra suppletie met zowel vitamine D als K aanraadt.
Wanneer en hoeveel?
Voor vitamine D geldt het algemene advies om kinderen tot het 4e levensjaar dagelijks 10 mcg te geven. De dosis vitamine K die de baby van de verloskundige krijgt na de geboorte is goed voor de eerste week. Vanaf dag 8 tot het einde van maand 4 wordt daarom elke dag 150 mcg vitamine K extra aangeraden.
Vitamine D
De zonnevitamine staat algemeen bekend als belangrijk voor de gezondheid, maar voor jonge kinderen geldt dit des te meer. Juist in de ontwikkelingsfase heeft een kind behoefte aan vitamine D.
Vitamine K
Vitamine K2 vinden we in voedsel van dierlijke oorsprong zoals kaas en kwark, maar ook in het gefermenteerde natto. Baby’s hebben bij de geboorte vaak lage vitamine K-niveaus. En dat terwijl deze vitamine wel essentieel voor ze is.
K1 & K2
Bovendien bevat ons product vitamine K1 én vitamine K2. En dat is bijzonder, want zowel in de meeste voeding als supplementen kom je voornamelijk vitamine K1 tegen. Zonde, want beiden hebben een specifieke functie voor de baby.
Vitamine D3 in de juiste dosering tot 4 jaar
De Gezondheidsraad adviseert om kinderen t/m 4 jaar 10 mcg vitamine D per dag te geven. Echter kan de kwaliteit van de vitamine D-vorm nogal verschillen. De zonnevitamine kent namelijk twee vormen.
Vitamine D3 is beste vorm
De ene is ergocalciferol (vitamine D2) en komt voornamelijk voor in paddenstoelen. De tweede vorm is cholecalciferol (vitamine D3); dit is de vorm die mensen (en dieren) zelf aanmaken onder invloed van de zon. De laatste is de meest biologisch beschikbare vorm voor en neemt ons lichaam dus het beste op. Daarom is dit ook de vorm die wij in onze Vitamine K & D Baby hebben verwerkt.

Ok, but don’t use hand cream

I like the case for its ability to house the keyboard, the pencil and the iPad in one convenient place. I find that the magnetic closure and magnets holding the keyboard are not as strong as a previous case I had purchased. The keyboard is great, I like the touchpad and the backlight colors. The cover material is not hand lotion friendly! I’ve tried water and lens cleaning wipes, and neither gets this cover clean. I hesitate to use any chemicals because the material is the type that will get sticky and nasty, and I don’t like that. I’ve included a photo of what the cover looks like after using a lens cleaning wipe. If the magnets were stronger and the cover material easier to clean, I would buy again.

great case!

pros; the color is beautiful. I picked the navy blue. It is exactly as the description described. It goes very well with my blue iPad. The size is very precise and fits perfectly on my iPad. The magnet that holds the case together is very strong. The iPad itself can pivot vertically and horizontally using that magnet. This works very smooth. The magnet closure for the case itself is strong and holds well. The magnet that holds the keyboard in place also works very well. Cons; when the keyboard is in its correct position, it is difficult to angle the iPad in front into the provided grooves. The keyboard gets into the way. This prevents the iPad from reaching the grooves provided. The keyboard feels very light and cheap.
The keyboard itself connected with the Bluetooth very easily. It works wonderful. I love the back light on the keyboard. The color of the keyboard is wonderful. However, as I said above, it does feel a bit cheap. But for 20 bucks, what can you ask for.
When the case is folded together with the keyboard in the iPad, it is a bit bulky. But I knew that from the previous reviews and was expecting it.
What I love most about this case is that the iPad can be removed using the magnet on the back from the keyboard portion, but it is still protected by the exterior plastic case. So in situations where I don’t need to use my keyboard, I can remove the iPad itself and know that it’s still protected overall I recommend this product.

Nice Case & Keyboard

Love this case with a keyboard. I like using the keyboard vs using one on the screen of iPad. And the keyboard has rechargeable batteries instead of having to buy batteries. And it protects my iPad.

Beautiful, and everything I want it except that the keyboard keys didn’t work😭

I searched and search for the right keyboard case for me. The most important thing for me was to be able to remove the iPad case itself from the whole case and keyboard, and this one was it. Unfortunately, when I started checking the keyboard a lot of The keys were not output in the correct symbol or letters. So defeats the whole purpose of having a keyboard. I returned it and asked for a replacement, thinking that the item was defected, but when I got the New replacement, it was the same thing so I tried to contact the seller, but there was no option to do that. Therefore, I had to return the second replacement keyboard and look for another keyboard cover.

Quality and Functional

I was looking for a case that could rotate and includes a keyboard. I have the gen 5 Ipad Air and it fits just fine. The part that rotates is magnetic (pretty strong) so if i just want the part with the ipad, I can just take it off. Keyboard is magnetic and the touchpad is such a bonus. It was easy to connect and every key works (can also change light color). Im also really impressed with the quality of the case, its pretty thick and even the plastic is nice. The navy blue color is also super cute, wish they had a dark red color too.
