Caffè Martella: Een familie, een passie, een verhaal

Omdat wij al meer dan 10 jaar samenwerken met de familiebranderij Caffé Martella heeft deze koffie stiekem al een plekje in ons hart veroverd. Een gezin dat verliefd is op koffie. Het verhaal van Caffè Martella zou met deze woorden kunnen worden samengevat en, zoals vaak gebeurt, als er een goed verhaal wordt verteld, staat er altijd een grootvader aan het begin. Een grootvader geleid door een idee en door de wil om het te realiseren. Azeglio Martella werd geboren in Marino, een klein stadje nabij Rome, in 1895. Hij was een rusteloos en fantasierijk karakter en na verschillende ervaringen en na twee wereldoorlogen te hebben overleefd, opende hij in de '40 jaren een kruidenierswinkel die ook koffie verkocht in de omgeving van Rome. 


Martella Biocaffè

Eerlijke handel en milieuvriendelijke houding is, zoals Martella verkondigd, geen loze marketingzin, maar een feit. In 2016 werd de Biocaffè blend geboren. Dit project, dat al meer dan een jaar werd bestudeerd, heeft als doel de hele toeleveringsketen transparant te maken, elke stap afzonderlijk te volgen en effectief en ondersteunend te zijn.

Martella: Generaties van koffiepassie

Caffè Martella is een Italiaanse koffiebranderij met een rijke familiegeschiedenis die teruggaat tot de jaren '40, toen Azeglio Martella een kruidenierswinkel opende in de buurt van Rome. De passie voor koffie is van generatie op generatie doorgegeven, en Caffè Martella staat bekend om zijn toewijding aan de klassieke Italiaanse espresso. Ze selecteren zorgvuldig koffiebonen van over de hele wereld en streven naar perfectie in elke melange. Caffè Martella combineert traditioneel vakmanschap met een diepe passie voor koffie, wat resulteert in hoogwaardige espresso met een authentieke Italiaanse smaak.

Looks good but the wall anchors is TRASH!

The product is heavy and sturdy once you get it up completely. The issue I have is with the instructions... 1. The 5/16 drill bit is recommends is WAY TO BIG. The Anchors it comes with will slip right through. The screws that is comes with are WAY TO SMALL for the weight. I recommend getting better ones from the hardware store and painting the screws black for better aesthetics. 2. The instructions say to put it together first then hang it on the wall. That is great so you can see where you want to place it and because it is actually bigger than it looks, but you will need to de-assemble it from the bottom shelf down after you mark where you want to place it, then put that part on the wall, then reassemble it from there, securing the top part to the wall last. The instructions sucked but that is what worked best for me. Another thing is when you first assembling it, you will notice that you will have to unscrew it a bit so the pipes can fast the correct way. This will make it feel flimsy, but it will tighten up when you secure it to the wall. Also, like some people said in previous reviews, some of the black paint did peel off the pipes, not to much for me but it was noticeable if you look at it hard enough.

However, its important to note that the wall anchors they provide are way too big for the screws. The screws just fall into the inside of the anchor without even being screwed in. So there's no way you could secure the wall unit with the ones provided. We had to replace the anchors with some I already had. Other than that very happy with the quality and look.
