Standplaats: De Beaucarnea Recurvata voelt zich het beste thuis op een lichte plek met indirect zonlicht. Direct zonlicht kan de bladeren verbranden. Deze plant is geschikt voor binnenshuis.

Waterbehoefte: Deze plant heeft weinig water nodig. Geef hem slechts een kleine hoeveelheid water wanneer de potgrond volledig is uitgedroogd, ongeveer één keer per twee weken.
