Il Conte Villa Prandone is een prachtig wijnhuis gelegen in de Marche regio in Italië, bekend om de productie van uitstekende rode wijnen. Het bedrijf is opgericht door een familie van wijnbouwers die al generaties lang wijn maken en hun kennis en ervaring hebben doorgegeven aan de volgende generaties. Het wijnhuis legt veel nadruk op de traditie en de kwaliteit van de wijnen. De wijngaarden van Il Conte Villa Prandone zijn gelegen op de heuvels rond de stad Alba en zijn beplant met enkele van de meest waardevolle wijnstokken van de regio. De wijnmakers houden zich aan strikte protocollen en methoden om de hoogste kwaliteit wijn te garanderen. De Passerina druiven staan aangeplant op een bodem van kalk en klei en worden bij optimale rijpheid zorgvuldig geoogst. Na de oogst worden de druiven vrijwel direct naar de wijnmakerij gebracht waar een korte schilweking volgt. Daarna wordt dit gescheiden van de most en volgt er een temperatuur gecontroleerde fermentatie. In de mond is deze wijn verrassend vol en zacht, met een subtiele en evenwichtige zuurgraad die de smaken tot leven brengt.
