The "baby M's" of the 'X' family just got a bit more big brother like. With more volume and a deeper, more aggressive note courtesy of the Dinan axle back exhaust system, the F97/F98 now stand on the precipice of rivaling, or even surpassing, its V8 siblings --- at least, in regards to sound. With an intoxicating and menacing sound befitting of a high performance SUV the X3M/X4M holds its own amongst the pantheon of more traditional M's. In order to achieve the deep and throaty signature Dinan sound the system incorporates larger 76mm tubing (vs 70mm stock) that allows freer flow through the entirety of the system but specifically to both outer pipes when the enlarged valves are open. The resulting flow and sound mimics an awe-inspiring straight pipe solution with a deeper, fuller tone, a defining element of all Dinan exhausts. In contradiction to the aggressiveness resulting from open valves, when the valves are closed, all gasses are forced into the muffler for sound deadening and exit the two inner tips. Regardless of valve position, the intimate nature of the interior is retained so conversation can continue without an excessively loud drone courtesy of drone abatement technologies housed within the can. With the Dinan exhaust equipped on the X3M/X4M you get the best of both worlds; aggressive tone/sound and civility Perhaps equally important to the sound of the installed Dinan axle back system are the resulting aesthetics. With a nearly perfect symmetrical design, the raw muffler and pipe routing are pleasing to the eye even when the matching proportions are only partially visible after install. The piping culminates into four massive 114mm (4.5") tips that fill up the previously spacious factory cut out in the valance without appearing to be oversized and unnatural. The imposing tips utilize a new tip design with an inverted clamp neck. The new style allows for two very important things to happen. The first is the ability to have a longer tip sleeve length without sacrificing real estate for a clamp neck thus allowing larger tips even when there is limited straight pipe to clamp on to. Secondly, the interior clamp neck means that the clamp itself is almost completely hidden from view for an unblemished install. Dinan has retained its signature straight cut tip design, safeguarding its unique and elegant styling position amongst a crowded marketplace full of angle cuts. With systems available with either black ceramic coated or polished clamp-on, and laser engraved exhaust tips, there is a version that is sure to meet your individual aesthetic needs.

Could not put this book down!
Format: Paperback
Binge read quality!! Finished in 2 days I was in a dilemma with this book. I couldn't wait to finish because it was so good, and yet I didn't want it to end, because it was so good. Staying up til 2:30am is the highest complement I can give to a book. Current day with Gothic feel. The story pulls you in immediately, and there is never a part where it feels dull, or that you need to skip through. Mysterious with plot twists, especially the end. I love how there were flashbacks from the past intertwined with present day. Gave a great backstory that only came together at the very end. Spicy for sure, and fit in perfectly with story. Great character development so that you could empathize with both of the main characters.. Lucian and Isa. Check Trigger warnings first!
Highly recommend this book

Easy Read With a Wild Ending
Format: Audiobook
This was a really easy book to get pulled into. The writing flowed well and I flew through it without feeling bogged down at any point. While I don’t think it hit me as hard as some of Keri Lake’s other books, I was still invested the whole time and needed to know where everything was going.
The atmosphere and mystery kept me hooked, but the ending? That twist completely caught me off guard. I honestly did not see that coming at all. Even though this one wasn’t my favorite from the author, the final turn alone made it worth the read.

A masterfully written, stunning, gothic romance!
Format: Kindle
Lucian Blackthorne . . . my, my, my. Be still my romantic, sinful, dark heart. This male lead is one of the most addicting, flawed, sensual, erotic characters I've ever read. fanning myself I loved his dark, thrill-seeking, possessive, obsessive, carnal nature. Seriously, where can I find one?
I digress. Lucian is a scarred man with secrets but that's only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. He's layered as deeply as an onion and it's addicting to peel back each one. He's a rich, powerful alpha male but there's so much to the man the town refers to as the Devil of Bonesalt. He's marked by loss, lies, a painful past, and the shadows of his choices in life. The Blackthorne name bears tragedy, turmoil, and an affiliation with the macabre.
Isadora is a strong female lead. She's young but her life hasn't been easy. She's flawed, haunted by the past, and as much an outcast as her new employer, the enigmatic, elusive Lucian Blackthorne. Her new position brings her into the fold, learning the darkness, deceit, sadness, and crimes elicited against the Blackthorne family. It only takes one night, one passionate encounter with the master of salt and bones to change her life forever.
Scandal, intrigue, tortured hero, suspense, thrills, mind-blowing twists, jaw-dropping secrets, and enough sensual bedroom scenes to set your kindle on fire.
This is a MUST READ. One of the best reads of 2022 for me. LOVED it!!

“There are darknesses in life and there are lights. You are one of the lights...The light of all lights.” - Master of Salt & Bones.
REVIEW: This book follows Isa who lives with her aunt on an island. Isa begins a new job as a caretaker for the dark, and mysterious Blackthorne family. A family who is disliked and even feared by the rest of the inhabitants of the island. However, as she grows closer to the man who they call the devil, Lucian Blackthorne, Isa sees for herself what the truth of Blackthorne manor really is.
This book is a dark romance! Originally I was told it was fantasy, which I don’t agree with at all. It is more of an erotic, gothic feel with some mystery sprinkled in. The plot was very interesting and kept me intrigued. This book was also quite steamy, however, I felt those scenes were well done and didn’t take away from the rest of the book.
Overall, the content in this book is quite dark and the backstories of the characters involve potentially triggering matters. Be aware to look these up if you feel like you need to. Overall, this is the first book I have read by Keri Lake, and I am excited to read more.
SYNOPSIS: When I was a little girl, I dreamed a handsome knight would come and rescue me from my wretched mother. He'd ride up on his white steed and break the curse I've been fated to carry since the day I was born.
Funny how things changed over time. How the fairy tale twisted into something far more crooked, darker than I ever imagined.
In reality, my knight is scarred and broken, living alone in a castle of bones that overlooks the sea. He isn’t searching for me. He never was.
Lucian Blackthorne is as cursed as I am, and equally shunned by the locals, the fishers of men, who believe him to be the devil in the flesh. Perhaps he is, with the way his amber eyes draw me in, ignite me like an infernal blaze. And the sins he whispers in my ear are as wickedly intoxicating as the man himself.
Yet, his touch is heaven and his will is my weakness. He calls us forbidden, an unsalvageable tragedy, with no happy end. Maybe we are. But in this story, he’s the one who needs saving.
