Thanks to its impressive 600mm x 395mm x 135mm [stepped] (28.9L) intercooler core size, this intercooler offers a 127% larger flow area and an incredible 250% more charge air volume compared to the original. The newly developed Competition high-performance intercooler core provides sufficient airflow to adjacent components such as the water cooler, ensuring optimal cooling conditions. This high quality Tube Fin core with internal turbulators allows for even filling of the intercooler and achieves excellent cooling characteristics with minimal back pressure. This makes this kit perfect for racing and demanding driving conditions. Our intercoolers also feature an anti-corrosion coating, which not only ensures protection from the environment, but also provides long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The cast aluminum end boxes are specially optimized and have been perfected under flow analysis in the CFD system to ensure the best possible airflow.

Thanks to the new Competition high-performance mesh, the sturdy unit comprising the intercooler and crossmember weighs just 18.0 kg, which has also contributed to the weight reduction. Installation is straightforward at the original mounting points and requires no additional effort (1:1 replacement). With a pressure test of up to 6 bar we prove the pressure stability and reliability of our products.

During the development of this high-performance charge air cooler, the focus was on the best possible internal throughput with Ř82 mm inlets and outlets. This allows the airflow to be optimally directed and optimum performance to be achieved.
