The AF95FM features a visually stunning Antique Yellow Sunburst flamed maple top, back, and sides, complemented by ivory binding on the body, headstock, and fingerboard, as well as a tortoise shell-colored pickguard. A 3-piece set-in neck, constructed from Nyatoh and Maple, is comprised of woods that contribute to its stability due to their stiffness and boasts a 24.7" scale length, as well as the signature AF Expressionist neck profile. On the neck is a bound ebony fingerboard, featuring acrylic block inlays, medium frets, and 12" fingerboard radius.

The AF95FM features Ibanez Super 58 Custom pickups. These pickups have earned their reputation as the preferred choice of legendary artists such as George Benson, Pat Metheny, and John Scofield – all of which have incorporated Super 58s into their signature models.
