This .5mm nozzle gun is slightly larger than the standard gun and allows more room for thicker metallic airbrush colors. Some dusts and powders are not meant to be used in an airbrush and will cause your airbrush to clog.

• Can I use with Oil-Based Colorants? Oil-based colorants can leave residue in your airbrush guns, so you will need to deep clean if this type is used.

• Which gun is better for airbrushing metallic shimmer colors? We recommend using the .5mm nozzle gun for thicker colors like metallics and white colorants. The enlarged nozzle allows larger particles to flow easier.

• What colorants should be used in these guns? Airbrush guns take a specific type of food coloring that is very thin and watery so as to not clog the guns. Any color you use should be specifically labeled as safe for use with airbrush systems. We suggest using DecoPac Airbrush Food Coloring
