This is the 4th painting from the CatWoman series, CatWoman is a character who is partly human and partly cat with cat ears and whiskers. More on the cat side compared to the CatLady series. I'm using acrylic paintings for these projects and this one has a backround with textured art. I belive it gives some kind of depth and the shadows according to different angles of the light makes the project look interesting. I start every character with a rough outline but without imagining how she will appear. The characters just reveal themselves along the way. All have different personalities. This is not something I am controlling while painting. I’m simply playing with colors, make brush strokes and channeling as she wants how she wants to appear. It is all up to that character.
