Original Hand-Drawn Pencil Animated Art

Swan Princess Pencil Art Puffin (Sequence 17-16). Original Pencil Art: hand-drawn pencil art from the classic film, The Swan Princess. This is Sequence 17 Scene 16, Puffin comes up with his “large colossal idea” to free Odette from the dungeon.

Pencil art was used in film production, the outlines were Xerox copied onto celluloid paper for painting. Pencil art was also used as a guide for color and position during the painting process.

There are many pencil drawings available in this sequence that have not yet been included in the product photos.

• Each pencil art cel measures 16" x 10.5" (40.64cm x 26.67cm)
• Each authentic pencil drawing is securely shipped in a reinforced padded envelope

Special Instructions:

Please specify in the notes of your order the numerical code on the pencil art you want. With original art, the first number represents the sequence, the second number the scene and the third represents the frame number. Before computer animation, every frame in animation was drawn by hand. 24 frames are required for one second of film. Most full-length, animated films required around one million drawings, including storyboards, backgrounds, pencil drawings and acrylic-painted cels.

All Swan Princess original hand-drawn animated pencil art cels were created by artists in our Burbank and Hollywood studios in the United States.

Optional Mat

You have the option to add a mat to the original Swan Princess production art prior to shipping. Pencils are matted in 4-ply mat board with backer board and placed in a resealable plastic bag - ready to frame, hang and enjoy!

Great deal on a shacket

The shacket looks like it is depicted in pictures. It is oversized in general since it is intended to be an over garment. The weight of the cotton is heavier than a normal cotton shirt, but not as heavy as a denim jacket. I am 5'8" tall and 175 pounds. My sport coat chest measurement is 44 inches. I ordered XL so it would be large enough to cover a T shirt and shoulder holster for S&W Shield to CCW. I washed in cold and hung dried, and it still feels a little too large. I will try to wash and machine dry and see if the fit improved. The shacket looks to be worn with sleeves extended. I tried rolling up the sleeves and was only able to get two rolls. A third roll was not possible because it wouldn't fit around my forearms even though I'm not muscular. Those wanting to roll up their sleeves may need to alter the shacket. I was pleasantly surprised that the shacket did not have a chemical smell, which makes sense because it is 100% cotton. It instead smelled like cotton. After the first wash I didn't notice any imperfections. The buttons don't seem to be unraveling, and the other stitching looks to be holding. The shacket comes with one extra button. Overall, it looks like a nice shacket. Because it comes from China, I was expecting a stinky, plastic shirt notwithstanding the advertising. But no, it looks like it's all cotton, all quite clean and healthy. For the price, it looks like a great deal. Note that they can't fit all body types. If you're muscular with large arms and shoulders, I would expect the usual difficulty in finding a fit.
